Dear partners of the UNITAFRICA project,

With the following we would like to invite you to the second webinar of the series UNITAFRICA: “Rural development, land management, agrifood and food security: the role of university cooperation between African countries and Italy”. The webinar takes place on Tuesday May the 27th from 14:00 to 16:00 CEST.

The tree longer presentations (15 min each) will be:

1. “Energy, health, agricultural and environmental benefits from biochar use in Africa” – Prof. Alessandro Peressotti – University of Udine- Italy 

2. Transdisciplinary approach on conservation of Biodiversity of Ranomafana Madagascar – Ratalata Ralaivao Alisoa Baovola – Université of Fianarantsoa – Madagascar

3. Greening the curriculum: Integrating a green pedagogical approach in Higher Education – Prof. Kat Yassim – University of Johannesburg – South Africa

Each contribute will be of 15 min with a final Q&A session

After the Q&A session further brief presentations (max 3 min) will be presented.
