Training activitie
The Summer School will be held at the premises of the University Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) in Dakar, Senegal (Africa) from 30 June to 4 July 2025 (5 working days) and aims to provide in-depth training on Appropriate Digital Technologies and Solutions for Environment, Agriculture and Health Promotion in Communities. The Summer School will offer an interdisciplinary perspective on the issues of global health, water and waste, agroecology and renewable energy in developing contexts, with a particular focus on digital tools to foster community resilience. Teaching will take place through a combination of theoretical lectures and interactive group work sessions and case studies. All the lectures will be delivered in English by lecturers from the University of Brescia and African Universities.
The summer school will focus on the following topics:
● Global health, one-health and digital health
● Environment, WASH (water sanitation and hygiene) and waste management
● Agriculture, zootechnical practices and climate change
● Renewable energy and energy transition
