Target participants

International relations officers, Erasmus+ coordinators, and staff involved in mobility programmes of the UnitAfrica partner Institutions. The number of participants is limited to 15. Any selection will be based on individual professional profile and motivation. In order to differentiate the group of participants, only one representative per Institution will be accepted.

The TNE UnitAfrica Network together with the University of Basilicata, in collaboration with the
University of Trento, is pleased to invite you to the International Staff Week 2025 CONNECT. LEARN. GROW., taking place in a blended format with the on campus part from 15th to
19th September 2025 in Potenza (Italy).
This event is aimed at creating network opportunities, sharing best practices and enhancing our and your skills in a stimulating context. The program includes workshops and sessions on tools for
exploring best practices and overcoming challenges in managing mobility, welcome services, and exchange initiatives.

Empowering International Relations Officers for Next-Generation Mobility
Abstract

The program aims to strengthen the capacity of International Relations Offices (IROs) by integrating digital tools, user-centered design, and artificial intelligence, while promoting international cooperation between Italian and Sub-Saharan African higher education institutions. A combination of virtual and in-person sessions explores key topics such as UX design, AI applications in administration, effective communication, and intercultural awareness. Participants will exchange best practices in managing inclusive and sustainable mobility, develop essential soft skills, and explore innovative management approaches for international exchange projects. The initiative fosters institutional engagement, peer learning, and networking among higher education institutions, empowering staff to lead next-generation mobility initiatives in a global context.
